IMPORTANT LOCAL NOTICE TO BOATERS

These Notice to Boaters are provided by the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District for the information about hazards and changes to navigation to the recreational users of the Ross Barnett Reservoir and the Pearl River under the District's Jurisdiction.

Only active Notices to Boaters issued by the District will appear within the list below.Notice to Boaters by other agencies will not be listed. Any notice issued by the District that has expired, canceled, or withdrawn will be removed from the list.

DREDGING

Effective March 17, 2008

The Pearl River Valley Water Supply District will begin dredging Arrowhead Point the week of March 17. Dredging operations should last no more than thirty days. Please note that there are pipes involved with the operation and to use caution when boating in the Mill Creek area. Please avoid this area until operations are complete.

NO WAKE ZONES

Due to increased complaints received by the District from both the General Public and Law Enforcement about the "No-Wake-Zones" being poorly marked, mid-channel buoys were set at the north and south ends of the "No-Wake-Zones" of the following locations:

• RATLIFF FERRY LANDING
• EDDIE'S ISLAND
• FLAG ISLAND/CUT-THRU ISLAND
